Feedback is proportionate to performance and grounded in specific examples
The organization delivers performance feedback that is proportionate to the magnitude of the performance event and anchored in specific, observable examples. Vague, sweeping criticism or disproportionately negative characterizations of minor issues are avoided. Equally, inflated or ungrounded positive feedback is avoided. Feedback is delivered in a form and context that allows the recipient to understand and act on it.
